Blaine Graboyes (Goldman) Biography

Blaine Graboyes (Goldman) is a category pioneer, an idea-stage investor and advisor, as well as an artist and inventor. He has nearly 30 years’ experience launching and commercializing innovations in the technology, media, and gaming industries.

Since the early 1990’s, Graboyes has pioneered new categories, launched industry-first companies and products, and produced over 4,000 projects for world-renowned entertainment, gaming, business, and fine art clients.

He has worked with individuals and companies such as; DreamWorks, Disney, Sony, Warner Bros,, DIRECTV, Nickelodeon, Mattel, Hasbro, Microsoft, Xbox, Playtech, MGM, Caesars, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Yoko Ono, Melissa Etheridge, and The Guggenheim and Whitney Museums, among many others. 

Blaine holds multiple patents for his innovations and inventions primarily focused on skill-based games and video game gambling.

Graboyes provides limited advisory and consulting services to gaming companies at Berman & Bros., in partnership with Steve Berman, the former Chief Strategy Officer of World Poker Tour.

In 2020, as an immediate action to combat the global pandemic, Graboyes helped establish Gather Labs, a High Complexity CLIA laboratory in Beverly Hills, where he continues to serve as an advisor.

Graboyes is an investor in and advisor to multiple startups in the social media, gaming, biotech, and hospitality industries through his idea-stage advisory firm, Mash3.

As the Co-Founder and CEO of GameCo, Graboyes was the primary innovator in bringing video games to the casino industry through the invention of the Video Game Gambling Machine (VGM™), launching the first skill-based games in regulated casinos in 2016. In 2020, Graboyes led a strategic investment from Playtech, SpringOwl, and other gaming investors. In 2022, GameCo merged with Greg Jade Games to form Green Jade Group.

Blaine is well accomplished and respected within the esports industry, bringing a decade of experience in producing prestigious live events, creating cutting-edge content, and selling major brand sponsorships for game publishers such as Blizzard Entertainment (now Activision Blizzard), Wargaming, and Ubisoft, among many others. Graboyes also co-founded the Esports Leadership Salon, bringing together executives and creatives in the esports industry.

Graboyes co-founded and was the CEO of The Gamer Agency, the premiere independent esports production company. Under his leadership, The Gamer Agency designed, built, and operated an esports arena and broadcast studio for Microsoft, located on the 5th floor of Microsoft’s flagship retails store in NYC. The Gamer Agency was acquired in 2017.

In addition to his professional work, Blaine is a mixed media artist and dedicated supporter of the arts. Since 2015, Graboyes has been the Executive Producer and/or Producer of four editions of the The 24 Hour Plays for Bennington College, his alma mater, which have funded and supported both the Nicky Martin Scholarship for Performing Arts and the Spencer Cox ’90 Field Work Term Fellowship for Student Activists.

In 1995, Graboyes was graduated from Bennington College in Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Thematic Major: Mathematics, Sculpture & The Philosophy Of Science. His work has been recognized with numerous awards including the 16th Annual GGB Gaming & Technology Awards Silver Medal, an RIAA Platinum album, and IGN Editor’s Choice Award. 

Blaine is an active member of the Producers Guild Of America (PGA) formerly serving on multiple boards, including two terms as Member-At-Large for the PGA East Executive Committee, and co-chair of the 2014 and 2015 Produced By: New York conferences.
